It was fun at first but then it got really serious. They would throw scripture in your face but not back it up. Say it was the ONLY CHURCH and the only way to get to Heavan. Even one time, showed a video where one guy was secretly videoed telling another guy that the Pope was going to Hell if he didn't follow the Bible like we did. Say we are disciples and we are to make disciples. Have to ask every stranger we meet to go to church and if we didn't have a visitor we have failed. Money was closely monitored. One time I was sick and stayed home. The leader called and asked where my money was. That is all she wanted. I brought that up to her leader because that was not what was taught in the Bible. We are taught to love one another. Treat you each other respect. The leader lied, said it never happed and it was my fault. That was the beginning of the end for me. Then I started asking questions about scriptures. Why did the Bible say this but they did things a different was. The leaders did NOT like that. They were really ticked off about that. During that time, I was also diagnosed Bipolar. That was the last straw. I was told by the leaders that I had the devil in me. All my "friends" were no longer allowed to talk to me. They had to stay away. I was told by the leader who lied that I didn't love HER Jesus and I was a "fall away". I haven't been back to a church until just recently (2009). I thought I was going to hell because my only chance was that church. Until I read this articale. I wish I could find some of my old friends. I was a part of the Oralando church in 1994-95.
