Over the years we
were subjected to numerous statements about how we could trust the
integrity of the church and its leadership. This is important,
especially in light of the fact that they have proven to be untrustworthy.
ICOCinvestigation.com is seeking statements from former
members as to the nature and quantity of such statements that were aimed
at keeping us from wanting to look into the financial records for
ourselves. Any recorded sermons to this effect, documents, or
recollections of public statements can be submitted to us in a number of
ways. We are especially
seeking to document statements about: ·
How
the leaders are appointed by God himself. ·
How
to challenge a leader is to challenge God. ·
How
it is God’s responsibility to “take out” a bad leader, and not the
member’s concern. ·
The
integrity of the church’s administrators. ·
The
great checks and balances present to keep financial sin from occurring. ·
The
absence of financial scandal in the church. ·
Promises
of how the churches were regularly audited. ·
Audit
reports published by the churches. Anyone
with statements or tips about any such thing is invited to contact
us.
